Ten days in Myanmar. Nearly 4000 pictures. I picked the 133 the I like the most. A trip that took us from the sparkeling city of Yangon, to the over 2000 Pagodas in beautful Bagan, ending up after a 16 hour bus ride in the almost too beautiful Inle Lake.
Myanmar is an adventure unlike anything else. Its poor, fascinating, beautiful, ugly, unfair and extremely charming.
To all the people we stubled upon on our way: Thanks for the ride! I hope to see you all again soon.
Enjoy!

The Shwedagong Pagoda in Yangon

A Yangon street vendor wearing the traditional Thanaka make up. The Thanaka is used both as a protection for the sun, and for estethic reasons.

Public TVs can be found all over Yangon, often showing two different TV-shows simultaneously.

Yangon street life. Pretty much every aspect of life plays out in various ways on the sidewalks.
