Det er strengt tatt mulig Keenan Cahill ikke er i ferd med å dø, selv om enkelte lurer på det i kommentarfeltet til denne videoen. At fyren, som har blitt en YouTube-hit med sine lip-syncer av ulike sanger, ikke er som alle andre, er det vel uansett liten tvil om. Cahill lider vissnok av noe som heter “Maroteaux-Lamy Syndrome“.

Selv om jeg vel er i eksil her nede i Australialand, har jeg altså internett, noe som i vant stil fører til at jeg utsettes for ulike fenomener, konsepter og nyheter. Jeg er jo tross alt glad i Internett. Her er et par highlights fra uka som har gått i min internettverden.

Jeg er nå ett-hundre-prosent sikker på Rosabloggerne er kommet for å bli. Det har i praksis gått lukt til helvete med unge menneskers evne til å drite seg ut de siste årene. Dette ser nå ut til å få en kraftig opptur. Her materialisert gjennom en svært ung og om mulig enda mer forvirret ung pike:

En skikkelig opptur på internett ble det med anti-mobbekampanjen “It gets Better”. Mine NRKbeta kolleger har mer: http://nrkbeta.no/2010/11/25/det-blir-bedre/ Absolutt verdt en titt.

Det slår meg også at det råder en viss feilfordeling når det kommer til selvtillit blant homser. Mens enkelt bli mobbet og tar livet av seg, er det andre som rett og slett kan beskyldes for å ha fått litt for mye av sorten:

Her har vi tilsyelatende med Trondheims neste store sønn å gjøre.

Dagbladet Magasinet dro på med et relativt fantastisk intervju med Tromsø-ambasadør Egon Holstad, noe som fikk meg til å grave fram artikklene fra hans sagnomsuste Oslo-tur for noen år tilbake. De er fortsatt svært morsomme:

In all computer systems items have ID’s. This is an unique identifier for each item stored in the systems database.

Bored as I am, I did a google search on my own unique Facebook ID to find out what else in this world have the same number as me…

Facebook is after all where we live our new social media crap lives, and therefor the ID they have given you can be seen (or at least I do in this little experiment) as your internett Social Security number .

A Google search reveals the following:

One hit. Only ONE hit. I have only one digital brother out there, and it turns out it’s the “Derma DuDress Film Top Island Dressing” at MSN Shopping (What the HELL is that anyway)

A little disappointed on what I found on my own number, I did a couple of searches on some friends of mine:

Turns out Gunnars Facebook profile links to this video, and the video has been accessed 8 times from this link…. Exciting!!!

Well… that was the result of the Bynesian jury. If you want to check your Facebook ID, cut and paste the number behind “id=” in the URL when standing on you Facebook profile page. Paste it in the Google search field.

Came across this very interesting commercial scoop from BlendTec the other day. BlendTec is a company that manufactures blenders for use in the kitchen.

As part of their advertising they put up a web page, www.willitblend.com, where they publish videos of things they try to blend in their blenders. They also put all their videos out on YouTube and Revver.

Needless to say, this has been a HUGE success on both YouTube.com and Revver.com, with the “Will it blend? IPod” video alone having over 2,9 million plays at YouTube.
